Illusion

[Literal translation of title: Was it Really Love?]

Maybe I really liked you
I keep stirring you up from my heart like a fool
Maybe we were in love
Though we had to let go of each other
Was I lacking because I was young and weak?
Back then

Was it really love?
Or were you a dream that I saw
Just like the ones I saw those days when I was insecure?
Our past looks miserable
And my blanched regrets make me sad sometimes

Though I try to ignore it and pretend to be okay
My reddened eyes speak for themselves
Maybe I was still not ready to forget you
Maybe it hurt me so much for a long time
Why didn’t I know this side of me?
All this while

Was it really love?
Or were you a dream that I saw
Just like the ones I saw those days when I was insecure?
Our past looks miserable
And my blanched regrets make me sad sometimes

When I see you like this
Will I be able to hold out with just the age-worn memories?
Am I being selfish for no reason?
Or is it a long lingering regret?
Did I only make things difficult for you?
Like a fool

I really loved you
But why do you slowly fade away from my arms?
Our past looks forlorn
I bid you an awkward farewell
My dear old love
